Welcome to Strings Together. We are a friendly, relaxed string ensemble for adults which offers orchestral playing in person and online, led by two very experienced tutors, Sinan Kadifachi and Susanna Wilson. We play a wide range of classical music from baroque to contemporary. Our group has a mix of abilities from Grades 1-7 standard and more advanced players are very welcome. If you're joining us in person, we'll see you there! Please remember to bring your sheet music, your instrument, a music stand and any accessories (shoulder rest/rosin/etc) that you like to use.
Do I ever have to play solos?
No! The only time you might be asked to play alone is when working through a technical aspect of the music during the skills sessions. However, if you are uncomfortable with this there is absolutely no pressure to do so.
